Photo Collaborations

In December 2010, artist Zackary Drucker and I spent a snowy Christmas weekend in her hometown of Syracuse, NY. During that time we explored spaces where she spent her formative years armed with only our collaboration in mind and my camera. Using the surroundings available to us including her childhood home, the local high school's football field and a chest filled with her aunt's vintage clothing, what resulted was a series rooted in cross-identity trans representation.

This collaboration was published as a periodical titled Translady Fanzine and the exhibition titled Distance is Where the Heart is, Home is Where You Hang Your Heart.
