Amos Mac is a writer.

Amos Mac is a UTA repped screenwriter who focuses on dramadies that explore identity, community and chosen family though a marginalized, often transgender lens. He was a 2018 Lambda Literary Writer's Retreat Fellow for YA fiction, awarded for his debut novel, Pinch from the Inside, about a trans teen in 1999. He co-wrote the hybrid documentary drama, Billy Tipton, produced by Parabola Films out of Montreal. Mac’s original short stories have been published in books including Love, Christopher Street and Emerge: 2018 Lambda Fellows Anthology and he's written exclusive essays and curated features sections for dozens of print and online publications, including his own self-published magazine, Original Plumbing. The Original Plumbing: The Best of Ten Years of Trans Male Culture, was released in May 2019.
