Amos Mac is a writer.

Amos Mac is a television writer most recently for the new Gossip Girl on HBO Max. In 2018 he was a Lambda Literary Writer's Retreat Fellow for YA fiction, awarded for his debut manuscript, Pinch from the Inside, about a trans teen in the 90’s who finds solace through his online journal. Along with Aisling Chin-Yee, Amos Mac co-wrote the hybrid documentary drama about Billy Tipton, No Ordinary Man, produced by Parabola Films. Mac has written original short stories, essays and curated features sections for dozens of print and online publications and anthologies, including his own self-published magazine, Original Plumbing. The book he co-edited, Original Plumbing: The Best of Ten Years of Trans Male Culture, was released in May 2019.
