Amos Mac is a writer.

Amos Mac is a UTA repped screenwriter who focuses on dramadies that explore identity, community and chosen family though a marginalized, often transgender lens. He was a 2018 Lambda Literary Writer's Retreat Fellow for YA fiction, awarded for his debut novel, Pinch from the Inside, about a trans teen in 1999. He is co-writing the hybrid documentary drama, Billy Tipton, produced by Parabola Films out of Montreal. Mac’s original stories have been published in books Love, Christopher Street and Trans/Love and he's written exclusive essays and curated features sections for dozens of print and online publications, including his own self-published magazine, Original Plumbing. The Original Plumbing anthology, focusing on all 20 issues and the past ten years of trans male culture is forthcoming from The Feminist Press in May 2019.
